Meet our frontman, brain’s behind the band and resident rockstar, Johan "The Voice" Fourie! Johan is a man of many talents - he can sing, he can play guitar, and he can rock a pair of leather pants like nobody's business.
Johan's voice is so powerful that it's been known to make grown men cry. He's got the kind of range that could shatter a wine glass, and his falsetto is so high that it's been mistaken for a dog whistle. When he sings, it's like he's channeling the spirit of Freddie Mercury himself.
Offstage, Johan is a bit of a diva. He's got a rider that's longer than our setlist, and he insists on having a bowl of only green M&Ms in his dressing room. He also has a strict vocal warm-up routine that involves singing scales in the shower and doing yoga poses that would make a contortionist jealous.
But despite all of that, we love Johan for his incredible talent and his larger-than-life personality. He's the heart and soul of our band, and we wouldn't be where we are without him. If you want to see a true rockstar in action, come to one of our shows and watch Johan work his magic.
Allow us to introduce you to the backbone of our band, Kevin "Funky Fingers" Mills on bass guitar! Kevin may not always be in the spotlight, but he's the glue that holds our band together. His bass lines are so funky that they could make a statue dance.
When he's not holding down the rhythm section, Kevin is busy teaching everyone the latest dance moves. He's convinced that he's the best dancer in the band (although we beg to differ). But don't worry, he won't let his dancing get in the way of his bass playing.
Kevin's fingers move with a precision that's borderline surgical. He's also the only person we know who can make a bass guitar sound like it's singing a love song. Offstage, Kevin is a bit of a goofball. He loves to crack jokes, and he's always trying to get the band to play "Billy Jean" even though we don't have a Michael Jackson tribute act.
So if you're looking for someone to get your feet tapping and your head bobbing, look no further than Kevin Mills on bass. He's the funkiest, silliest, and most talented bassist you'll ever meet.
Meet our drummer, Zandre "The Human Metronome" Fouche! He's been keeping time since he was old enough to bang pots and pans together. Rumor has it that his parents had to buy him a drum kit just to keep him from drumming on everything else in the house.
Zandre’s drumming skills are so impressive that he once made a metronome obsolete. Zandre originates from Centurion, and is also a certified sound engineer, guitarist, vocalist and bass player.
When he's not busy laying down sick beats, you can find Zandre practicing his air drumming skills, watching drum solo videos on YouTube, and trying to convince everyone that drumming is a sport. We're not sure if we agree with him, but we do know that Zandre is a key part of our band's rhythm section.
Ladies and gentlemen, let us introduce you to the one and only Marnus "Shred Master" Kriek! This guitar virtuoso has been shredding since before he could walk, and he hasn't stopped since. His fingers move so fast that they're basically a blur, which has been known to cause vertigo in some audience members.
Marnus is a true guitar hero, and he knows it. In fact, he's been known to ask for a standing ovation before he even plays a note. But don't worry, he always delivers. His solos are so face-meltingly good that we have a disclaimer on our concerts: "Warning: Marnus' guitar solos may cause spontaneous combustion."
Offstage, Marnus is a bit of a diva. He refuses to play anything without strings, and he insists on having a fresh set of strings before every show, just in case. He also has a strict "no brown M&Ms" policy in his contract, because he believes they're bad luck.
But despite all of that, we love Marnus for his incredible talent. We're pretty sure he was born with a guitar in his hands, and we can't wait for you to see him in action.
We would be thrilled to work with you and provide entertainment services for your upcoming events.
